Staying and dining at Ishan Villa Amritsar - the rooms and food

As reviewed earlier, our stay at Ishan Villa, Amritsar, Punjab was a really good experience. Here you will get a glimpse of the rooms and the food - two vital aspects of any hotel accommodation anywhere in the world!

Really, really comfortable and cozy rooms with no needless clutter, just the required essentials for sleeping, sitting, and storage. 

The bed was soft, with a lovely pattern on the head-board and twin reading lights on either side. A small table right next to it had the phone for communication with the hotel staff. There was a spacious cupboard for clothes and bags on one side of the bed and on the other side was a small table and chairs. Curtained windows ensured privacy. The rooms are air-conditioned but you do have the choice not to use it and switch on the fan if you so wish.

The washroom was clean and hygienic, and bright too, with natural light from a window. We were even enamoured by the pretty design on the tiled walls!

Like the rooms, a warm and cozy restaurant serves good food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

The menu has full meals and min-meals, snacks, sweets, and beverages.

We decided to opt for room service and enjoyed a cup of morning tea and for lunch had a Punjabi thali. Delectable!
