The Metropolitan Opera New York Free Streaming March 2020

Here's a wonderful opportunity for Opera fans! The world-renowned Metropolitan Opera, New York is providing free streams of presentations from its earlier 'Live HD Series'. Each stream will be of a complete performance which featuring the best of the best of Opera singers, available totally free to watch through its official website. You can even access the performances through the Met Opera on Demand app.

Time schedule: from 7:30 p.m. EDT until 3:30 p.m. the following day.

2. On 21st March (Saturday): Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, featuring Anna Netrebko, Piotr Beczała, and Mariusz Kwiecien, conducted by Marco Armiliato. 

3. On 22nd March (Sunday): Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, featuring Renée Fleming, Ramón Vargas, and Dmitri Hvorostovsky, conducted by Valery Gergiev. 

4. On 23rd March (Monday): Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, featuring Nina Stemme, Ekaterina Gubanova, Stuart Skelton, Evgeny Nikitin, and René Pape, conducted by Simon Rattle.

5. On 24th March (Tuesday): Wagner’s Das Rheingold, featuring Wendy Bryn Harmer, Stephanie Blythe, Richard Croft, Gerhard Siegel, Dwayne Croft, Bryn Terfel, Eric Owens, and Hans-Peter König, conducted by James Levine. 




6. On 25th March (Wednesday): Wagner’s Die Walküre, featuring Deborah Voigt, Eva-Maria Westbroek, Stephanie Blythe, Jonas Kaufmann, Bryn Terfel, and Hans-Peter König, conducted by James Levine. 

7. On 26th March (Thursday): Wagner’s Siegfried, featuring Deborah Voigt, Jay Hunter Morris, Gerhard Siegel, Bryn Terfel, and Eric Owens, conducted by Fabio Luisi. 

8. On 27th March (Friday): Wagner’s Gotterdammerung, featuring Deborah Voigt, Wendy Bryn Harmer, Waltraud Meier, Jay Hunter Morris, Iain Paterson, Eric Owens, and Hans-Peter König, conducted by Fabio Luisi. 

9. On 28th March (Saturday): Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg, featuring Annette Dasch, Johan Botha, Paul Appleby, and Michael Volle, conducted by James Levine.
