Dining at Hotel Gautam Porvorim Goa

One of the many, many plus points of staying at Hotel Gautam in Porvorim, Goa is the in-house restaurant. There is absolutely no need to go elsewhere to dine unless you crave non-vegetarian food since this is an only-veg restaurant. The food and service are excellent by all standards and really yummy😋 What's more, they are willing to customize food and lend an ear to a request for something specific. The restaurant is also one of the best we've ever dined in with its bright yellow cheerful interior, flooded by natural light, with sketches on the walls that will bring an instant smile to your face. 

We had taken the 3-night package with a meal plan included and had a wonderful staycation. From the first day's lunch to the last day's breakfast, it was a wonderful dining experience. We were asked what we would like to have each time, with suggestions of vegetables for the lunch and dinner meals as per what stock they had, but at one time when we asked for tendli, they took the trouble to go and get it from a market.

Thai Curry, Tea and Tiramisu - Heady dining at CafeTrofima restaurant Mumbai

What's mentioned in the title of this post are three of the items on the menu which you should not miss out on, when dining at Café Trofima restaurant in Mumbai city. When it opened a year ago, the restaurant had a menu which was limited for vegetarians and was predominantly non-vegetarian food. On our second visit today, we were happy to see a much improved menu, both in terms of the menu layout itself (previously it was just a large sheet of thick paper, much like a large pamphlet, frayed at the edges. Now it is a cheery orange and blue one on the inside, albeit a dull brown outside though. There are more options for vegetarians as well. It goes without saying that, a year on, the prices have shot up too!!
